Through our fitters, Ventmek has been involved in a wide range of ventilation projects across Sweden — in partnership with established contractors and installation firms in the industry.
Our fitters have experience from major new builds, renovations and ongoing contracts where demands on pace, quality and coordination are high.
We typically join as reinforcement to existing teams, but can also take on greater responsibility in projects where a lead fitter drives the work, keeps the schedule, and ensures quality.
What all assignments have in common is the ability to quickly become a functioning part of the project and deliver from day one.

Where in Sweden do you have projects?
We staff ventilation projects across all of Sweden. Based in Gothenburg, but fitters are deployed to clients nationwide — Stockholm, Malmö, Uppsala, Västerås, Örebro, Linköping and more. For assignments outside Gothenburg we cover travel, per-diem and accommodation.
What's required to work as a ventilation fitter at Ventmek?
We hire experienced fitters with at least 2 years of ventilation installation experience, a Swedish driver's license (B), and Swedish (spoken and written). We arrange ID06 ourselves — you don't need it beforehand.
How long does the application process take?
We respond within 48 hours of receiving your application. From first contact to starting an assignment is typically 1–2 weeks — depending on which projects we have running and your availability.
Do you hire apprentices or only experienced fitters?
We focus on experienced ventilation fitters because our clients typically need people who deliver from day one without supervision. Apprentices and recent graduates we take in exceptional cases — contact us for a conversation.
How does ventilation staffing work?
You're hired by Ventmek on a full-time basis. We place you with a client (contractor or installer) on a specific project. When the project ends, we match you with the next assignment. You have a contact at Ventmek throughout.
Do you staff all of Sweden or only Gothenburg?
All of Sweden. We're based in Gothenburg but deliver fitters to projects nationwide. For assignments outside commuting distance we cover travel and per-diem — you focus on the job, we handle the logistics.
